HYDER HOT SPRINGS PROSPECT
PERSHING COUNTY, NEVADA
Hyder Hot Springs are located in the Dixie Valley Know Geothermal Resource Area
(KGRA). Several temperature gradient wells have been drilled in the area, however
only one well in the SMU Geothermal Database reports temperatures. One well
drilled in T25N, R38E, section 33 showed a UN gradient C/KM of 241¾ C.EXTRACTED

Cohen and Everett (1963) report that virtually all the springs in Dixie Valley
are thermal. Hyder or Cone Hot Springs in S28, T25N, R38E have reported temperatures
from 83¾ to 175¾ F (Cohen and Everett, 1963).
